Sales Director

Location: Remote

Reports To: VP Operations, COO

This corporate Sales Director role is responsible for expanding our market share in the LED lighting sector. The Sales Director will serve as the primary point of contact for sales initiatives, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and ensure operational excellence. The role includes furnishing weekly snapshots to the VP and shareholders and may involve indirect oversight of 1099 sales representatives, territory managers, or brand sales reps.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales initiatives and strategic growth
  • Support marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness
  • Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams for operational excellence
  • Manage CRM systems, maintain a custom sales pipeline, and ensure follow-ups within 24 hours
  • Expand market share and develop relationships with retail distributors and strategic partners
  • Process and track sales orders efficiently
  • Communicate with and potentially oversee 1099 sales representatives, territory managers, or brand sales reps
  • Furnish weekly performance snapshots to VP Operations and shareholders

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales leadership, business development, or account management (direct management of teams is a plus, not required)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives in a corporate environment
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and professional demeanor
