Limited Product Warranty

Limited Warranty Coverage

Viribright® Lighting, Inc. (“Viribright®”) warrants to the original end-user purchaser (“Purchaser”) that eligible Viribright® LED lighting products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, installation and operating conditions during the applicable limited warranty period. The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase.

This limited warranty is non-transferable unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by Viribright®. Valid proof of purchase is required.

Warranty Conditions

Coverage applies only when the product has been properly installed, operated and maintained in accordance with applicable Viribright® product specifications, instructions and ratings. Product identification, manufacturing or date codes must remain legible and unaltered where applicable.

The product must be operated within the voltage, temperature, fixture, environmental and control-system limits published for that specific product. Use outside published product limits may void warranty coverage.

Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover damage, malfunction or failure resulting from:

• Improper installation, wiring, handling, maintenance or use.
• Misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, alteration or unauthorized repair.
• Voltage abnormalities, surges, electrical transients or unsuitable power conditions.
• Incompatible dimmers, controls, sensors, drivers, transformers or other third-party devices.
• Use in fixtures, enclosures, environmental conditions or applications for which the product is not rated.
• Fire, flood, lightning, severe weather or other events outside Viribright® control.
• Normal lumen depreciation, expected color shift, ordinary wear, cosmetic changes or aging that do not constitute a defect in materials or workmanship.

Unless expressly stated in a separate written Viribright® warranty, coverage is limited to the eligible product itself and does not include labor, diagnostic, access, equipment, removal, installation, reinstallation, freight, packaging, handling or other associated costs.

Claim Evaluation

All claims are subject to review and, where requested, inspection or supporting documentation. Viribright® may request proof of purchase, product markings, photographs, installation information, return of affected products or other information reasonably necessary to determine warranty eligibility.

No product should be shipped to Viribright® until return instructions or a Return Material Authorization (RMA), when applicable, have been issued.

Warranty Remedy

If Viribright® determines that an eligible product contains a covered defect during the applicable warranty period, Viribright® may, at its option, replace the product with the same product or a comparable substitute. If the original product is discontinued or unavailable, a functionally comparable replacement may be provided.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, replacement of the covered product constitutes the Purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this limited warranty.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Viribright® will not be liable for incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages arising from or related to the product or its use, including lost revenue, lost profits or business interruption. Viribright® liability under this limited warranty will not exceed the original purchase price of the affected product, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Any implied warranties that cannot legally be disclaimed are limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so certain limitations may not apply.

State Law Rights

This limited warranty gives the Purchaser specific legal rights. The Purchaser may also have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Policy Updates

Viribright® Lighting, Inc. may revise this warranty policy from time to time. Any revision will apply prospectively and will not reduce warranty coverage already in effect for an eligible product purchased before the effective date of the revision, except where otherwise permitted by law.
